Job Description:

•Installed, configured and maintained multiple Red Hat Satellite Servers, and custom repositories.
•Perform troubleshooting and monitoring of the Linux server on AWS using Zabbix , Nagios and Splunk .
•Setting Up databases in AWS using RDS including MySQL,MongoDB, storage using S3 bucket and configuring instance backups to S3 bucket.
•Handled patching, upgrading and IAVAs.
•Managed network operations, security, and Linux/Win2000 server farm infrastructure including Dell, VA Linux, Cisco, and Compaq hardware.
•Built and configured linux Redhat Nagios monitoring solutions.
•Built Red Hat linux bare metal and virtual machine servers.
•Support for 3-tier Amazon Web Services cloud application including the following: Apache, Tomcat, Solr, Cassandra DB.
•Managed MySQL, Apache, Sendmail, and X STOP applications.
•Installed and configured RALUS/ Backup Exec.
•knowledge of AWS services, and broader Cloud XaaS technology space.
•Experience and understanding of AWS EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, VPC, S3, IAM, ELB, Route 53, GovCloud (nice to have), Security Groups, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, CloudFormation.
